Creating an Account
You are eligible to have an LBCC e-Learning Zone account if you are a student enrolled in a Distance Learning course at LBCC that uses LBCC e-Learning Zone. Follow the directions below to create your LBCC e-Learning Zone account. If you have previously created an account and cannot remember your password, you can follow the directions below to receive a new password as well.
To create your LBCC e-Learning Zone account:
- From the LBCC e-Learning Zone login page (http://ezone.lbcc.edu/main/login/), follow the "Obtain your password " or "Receive a new password" link under the Student Users heading (they both go to the same page).
- Enter your 7-Digit Student ID into the form box labeled Student ID.
- Enter the e-mail address that you have on file with People Soft into the form box labeled E-mail. If you do not have an e-mail address on file with People Soft you will have to update your People Soft record and add a valid and current e-mail address to it. For help on on updating your e-mail address in People Soft, view the People Soft Help Files.
Note: If you recently updated your e-mail address in People Soft you will have to wait up to 24 hours for the change to take effect in the LBCC e-Learning Zone system. - Press the Receive New Password button.
- If the information you entered matches the record on file with People Soft, and you are enrolled in a Distance Learning course that uses LBCC e-Learning Zone, a randomly generated password will be e-mailed to the e-mail address you entered. You may now use this password along with your Student ID to access your course(s).
Note: it may take a few minutes for the e-mail to arrive in your e-mail box.
If the information you entered does not match the record on file with People Soft, you will be notified of the error. Keep in mind the following things.
- If you recently enrolled in the course, you may have to wait up to 24 hours before creating your account.
- If you recently changed your e-mail address on file with People Soft, you may have to wait up to 24 hours before creating your account.
- The e-mail address entered must be the one that is on file with People Soft for your Student ID.
- You must enter all seven digits of your ID (including initial zeros) for it to be recognized correctly.
- If you are still having trouble, please contact us.
