Requesting an Account

LBCC e-Learning Zone Faculty Accounts are for LBCC Distance Learning and Web-enhanced instructors only. You are eligible to have an LBCC e-Learning Zone account only if you are a full- or part-time instructor who uses an instructional website. Upon filling out the request account form, your status will be confirmed and you will be notified when you can login. This process is not immediate. If you have previously created an account and cannot remember your password, follow the directions below under the Retrieving a Lost Password heading. You do not need to fill out the request account form again.

To request your account:

  1. From the LBCC e-Learning Zone login page (http://ezone.lbcc.edu/main/login/), follow the Request an Account link under the Faculty Users heading.
  2. Fill out the request form completely, following the directions for each of the fields where applicable.
  3. If you fill out all the required fields correctly, and if there is not already an account associated with your e-mail address, and if there is not already an account with the user name you provided, your request will be submitted successfully.
    Note: If your request is not successfully submitted, you will be notified and asked to fix the problems in the request form.
  4. Once your request has been submitted, we will review it and check your status. Upon confirmation that you are a faculty member who uses an isntructional website, we will activate your account.
  5. When we activate your account, you will be notified by e-mail, and you will be able to login and being using LBCC e-Learning Zone.

If you are having trouble requesting your account, or have not heard back concerning your request after 3 business days, you may contact us.

 


Retrieving a Lost Password

If you have forgotten your password, you must obtain a new password. This sections explains how to use the Receive a New Password page to receive a new password in place of your lost password. Old forgotten passwords cannot be obtained!

  1. From the LBCC e-Learning Zone login page (http://ezone.lbcc.edu/main/login/), follow the Receive a New Password link under the Faculty Users heading.
  2. Fill out the form with your e-mail address that you used to sign up for your LBCC e-Learning Zone / e-Zone account. If there is a match, a new password will be created for your, and it will be e-mailed to your e-mail address.

Technical Help Section

Using LBCC e-Learning Zone is most easily accomplished using a modern browser. If you are using an older browser, try updating your browser before you try any of these other steps. Modern and recommended browsers include the following:

If you cannot update your browser, or if you have an updated browser but are still experiencing problems, please continue to read. Using LBCC e-Learning Zone requires certain settings in your browser to be set correctly. This includes the enabling of Frames, Javascript, and Cookies.
